Notifications
Email, in-app, and browser push — what fires, and how to make it stop.
Notification preferences are personal, not workspace-wide. Set them in Notifications in the sidebar. You can keep different settings per workspace.
| Notification | Fires when |
|---|---|
| New feedback | A thread is created on a project you can see |
| Replies | Someone replies to a thread you're involved in |
| Mentions | Someone @-mentions you |
| Assignments | A thread is assigned to you |
| Status changes | A thread you're involved in is resolved or reopened |
| Weekly digest | A summary of activity |
The weekly digest has a configurable delivery day.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and replies to notification mail route to support rather than into a void.
In-app and push
| Notification | Fires when |
|---|---|
| New feedback | A thread is created |
| Replies | Someone replies |
| Mentions | You're @-mentioned |
In-app notifications appear under the bell in the dashboard. The same events can be delivered as browser push notifications once you allow them — push is registered per device, so allowing it on your laptop doesn't cover your phone.
Quiet hours
Set a start and end hour to suppress delivery overnight.
Team-wide notifications
Personal preferences cover you. To get feedback into a shared channel, use an integration — a Slack channel, a Teams channel, a shared inbox via the email integration, or an outbound webhook.
For notifications on some threads rather than all of them, use an automation with a notify action.
Too much noise?
In order of how much they help:
- Turn off New feedback email and keep in-app. You'll still see everything in the bell, without the inbox pressure.
- Move to the weekly digest for volume, and keep mentions and assignments instant — those are the ones actually addressed to you.
- Set quiet hours covering your evening.
- Send channel-level notification to Slack instead, and let the team read it there rather than everyone getting their own copy.
