# Microsoft Teams integration

Post new feedback into a Teams channel via an incoming webhook.

**Pro and above.** Setup is a channel webhook URL.

## Connect [#connect]

<Steps>
  <Step>
    ### Create an incoming webhook [#create-an-incoming-webhook]

    In Teams, open **Workflows** and create a workflow from the **Send webhook
    alerts to a channel** template. Select the destination channel
    and copy the generated URL.

    Your tenant administrator may need to permit connectors before this option
    appears.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Paste it into Annot8 [#paste-it-into-annot8]

    **Integrations** in the sidebar → **Microsoft Teams** → paste the URL →
    **Connect**, then **Test**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    ### Choose which projects use it [#choose-which-projects-use-it]

    A new connection is on for every project. Switch Microsoft Teams off under **Project →
    Integrations** for any project that shouldn't use it.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## What gets posted [#what-gets-posted]

Every new thread on an enabled project posts a message with the project name, the
author, the comment, and a link to the page.

## Different channels per project [#different-channels-per-project]

Teams doesn't support per-project overrides — the workspace connection posts
to one channel. Under **Project → Integrations** you can turn Teams off for
projects that shouldn't post there; for genuinely separate channels, use a
[webhook](/docs/integrations/webhooks) per project instead.

## Troubleshooting [#troubleshooting]

**The Workflows option isn't there.** Ask your Teams administrator to enable
Workflows for your organization.

**Nothing arrives.** Check the integration's last-delivery status for the error.
Teams webhook URLs are long and easy to truncate on copy — re-copy the whole
thing.
